This site serves as advertisement for private piano lessons from Mary Kate Mitchell, a graduate of Bridgewater State College with a BA in Music. The site also includes resumé information for potential employers in the music education and music performance industries.
Its hard to move, get married, and grow your business all at once but I’ve done it! I’m now Mrs. Mary Kate McKee and my studio has moved to my new home in Mansfield. Its a great location, bordering Foxboro, Plainville, and North Attleboro.
My studio has not only moved, but we’ve grown too! I have about 30 students each week and since my last posting we’ve had two more student recitals.
Sounds pretty busy, but fear not newcomers – We still have openings for new students! Openings are available Monday through Friday. As always, we’re an all ages, all skill levels, no experience required studio.
With the holidays coming up you’re sure to be thinking about gift giving. Why not give someone special to you a piano lesson? Video games, chocolate candies, and gift certificates are sure to leave a smile on your loved ones faces. They sure left a smile on my face when I’ve gotten them! Still, one day as a young girl my parents signed me up for piano lessons and it changed. my. life. Even the sweetest piece of chocolate could never compete with that.
Its something special. Give the gift of music.
Info and photos will be posted soon!
Hello! It has been awhile since I’ve updated the site but I finally got to it. I’ve certainly been keeping myself busy since graduation.
In April, I traveled 14 hours down to Mrytle Beach, SC with the Brockton High School chorus for their yearly competition. Much fun was had by all but I decided to make the trip a little more interesting than usual. I unfortunately made a trip to the Myrtle Beach Hospital. While out sight-seeing with the students, I dislocated my patella (knee cap). Worst couple of hours of my life but the students were very sweet and helpful during the whole ordeal and I even received a warm applause from them the next morning at breakfast. They are such great kids!
Private piano lessons are going very well! I’m pleasantly surprised at the number of students I have had the pleasure to teach and remain teaching. I learn something new every week from my students.
Please check back for more updates still to come!
